Modelagem e simulação de processos para entrega de itens de assistência humanitária em desastres

Resumo


Este trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso de um desastre natural causado por inundações sob a ótica da logística e com foco em atividades de logística humanitária. A abordagem proposta utiliza a simulação a eventos discretos de cenários de inundação ocorridos no Sul do Brasil. Para tanto foi usando as atividades logísticas de aquisição e transporte para a modelagem do processo de entrega dos itens de assistência de uma organização humanitária. Utilizou-se a abordagem da pesquisa empírica quantitativa. A principal contribuição está no auxílio da tomada de decisão referente à tarefa que influência os tempos de entregas dos itens de assistência humanitária. Na busca de minimizar o tempo de resposta, a simulação auxiliou a modelagem do processo referente à escolha do melhor esquema de entrega dos itens de assistência humanitária.
